The IRIS Europe II project in Slovakia.

Company KIOS, Ltd. together with the Transport Research Institute, Inc. Žilina will be participating on the implementation of the IRIS Europe II project in Slovakia. In the public procurement procedure announced by the Ministry of Transport, Posts and Telecommunications of Slovak Republic both companies were successful with a common offer. Subject of this order is the Project of common interest of implementation of harmonised river information services in the area of inland waterway networks on the Slovak stretch of Danube – IRIS Europe II. In course of the years 2010 and 2011 this project will follow the works performed during the IRIS Europe Project (Implementation of River Information Services in Europe). Subject of this order will be co-financed from the national budget and from the financial funds of European union by the admitted aid of 49,97%.
